Version: 2026-11-03 · in force from 3 November 2026 · previous version: 2026-11-02

*The Polish version (reklamy-zgody.md) is the binding text; this translation is provided for convenience.*

1. Advertising

Today the Service shows no ads, loads no advertising scripts and shows no consent banner. In the future we may introduce ads; we would then update the documents and ask for consent before ads appear.

2. Payments

Today the Service is free and sells nothing. In the future we may introduce a paid offer; it would get separate terms, and the documents would be updated before it is launched.

3. Consents at sign-up

Sign-up requires two statements: acceptance of the Terms and having read the Privacy Policy. The third field, consent to marketing e-mails (news and offers from Gatecall), is voluntary and unticked by default. We send marketing information only with this consent; consent is the legal basis. The Service records the version of the accepted documents and the time of acceptance, and the version and time of marketing consent. Every marketing message contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also withdraw consent at any time (iodo@gatecall.pl). Not giving it does not affect your use of the Service.

4. Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself: Account → Delete account. Deletion permanently removes account data from the database (Privacy Policy, section 6). If the function does not work, write to iodo@gatecall.pl.

5. Contact

  • General and complaints: kontakt@gatecall.pl
  • Personal data (GDPR rights, deletion, withdrawing consents): iodo@gatecall.pl
  • Postal address: Jan Gajek, ul. Kolberga 35, 32-085 Tomaszowice, Poland

6. Reporting infringements and the DSA contact point

6.1. We create the content in the Service; users publish only a player name. If you believe any content in the Service (including a player name, a photo or a description) is unlawful or infringes your rights (copyright, trademark, personality rights), write to kontakt@gatecall.pl. Give the page address or the place, the reasons and your contact details.

6.2. We handle reports without undue delay and tell the reporter our decision and the options to appeal. For a justified report we remove or change the content.

6.3. kontakt@gatecall.pl is the point of contact for Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, and for users, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act). Contact languages are Polish and English.

7. Deleting data after signing in with Facebook or Google

7.1. This applies only to people who signed in with Facebook (Meta) or Google. The Service then receives account data from the provider (Privacy Policy, section 2) and stores it in your account.

7.2. How to delete your data from Gatecall: (1) sign in and choose Account → Delete account; or (2) write from the account e-mail address to iodo@gatecall.pl with the subject “Data deletion” (it is enough to say the account was created with Facebook or Google). We delete the account, player name, first and last name, results and solve times without undue delay and within one month at the latest, and confirm by e-mail.

7.3. Deleting data in Gatecall does not delete your account with the provider. You revoke Gatecall’s access: on Facebook in Settings → Apps and Websites, in Google in your Google Account settings → Security → Third-party apps and services.
