How to play: Timetable

Five rail journeys across Europe. For each, pick the time of the quickest journey with changes. Times are worked out from distance, not from a timetable.

  1. 1You see two cities and four possible times for the quickest journey between them.
  2. 2High-speed trains are faster than intercity ones, and every change costs half an hour. Work out the quickest way round.
  3. 3After you answer, you see the real route and time.
  4. 4Three mistakes end the game. Finish five journeys without a third mistake to win.
